RealityU is an interactive exercise that helps youth understand some of the “realities” involved in preparing for an employable future. At RealityU, students select an occupation based on their plans after high school and current GPA. They are then given an amount of money equivalent to the average monthly salary at 26 years. Students then proceed to the booths where they purchase housing, transportation, communication services, childcare, food, and utilities.
We are in need of volunteers to help man these 12 booths. You will be needed from 7:30am to 3:05pm with a break from 11:00 to 12:00 for lunch. Lunch will be provided.
