Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is an international organization whose mission is to meet human needs without discrimination. In the United States, it is the largest non-government social services provider. Once a year we utilize our Kettle Campaign to fundraise money that will support our mission for the upcoming year.

We provide emergency assistance to families in Ellis County. We also run a Paper Pantry that eligible families are able to access once every 3 months. Additionally, we participate in a program called Project Suitcase where we provide foster children with a suitcase filled with comfort items, necessities, and a blanket. During the Christmas season, we do an Angel Tree Gift Program and families can sign up to receive gifts donated by residents of Ellis County.
